The biggest, the baddst, the mother of all events, is Movienight!!
It happens on the SECOND Saturday of each month, 6:30pm, on Town Hall
Steps, no excuses accepted.
Of course, other than this, there is Activators (free for all
party's, drugs, sex, and Active...what more can you ask for?), Mid
Week Movie thingie's, and of course, the fairly regular Friday
nights, which are made up of either Ice Skating, Bowling, or Putt
Putt Golf.
Any events organised in here will be generously awarded, so will
reviews of events, and pitures of events/activites too. This is the
place for all Activite JPEGs. So, keep on having fun, and remember,
this is Active's eqcuse for a life!!!

Ok, here's the ground plan:

Ok, what we do is have Spychoo and Zuid waiting at position
A, trying to look inconspicuos, Arey and myself standing at
position B, and Baron being served at the counter at C.
Now, we have Baron, at C, break wind, causing the customers to
run screaming from entrance E. At this point, Arey and myself
should put on our gas-masks and run towards the bank Tellor at F,
knocking him to the ground before he rings the fumigator alarm.
At the same time, Spychoo and Zuid put on their gas-masks and
enter through entrance E screaming "get down moverfukkas!!" and
proceed to jump the counter at position D with Baron. Baron
then picks up our hostage from positon F and carries them into
the office along with Arey and myself. Spychoo and Zuid
remain at position F, in their combat stance, jumping and
turning 90 degrees every 10 seconds, not unlike a computer game.
At this point, Baron sits on hostage in office while I
question him about the safe combination, and Arey looks at
himself in the office mirror and says "Damn!! I'm lookin' good!"
We then enter the safe, and with Baron's help, make off with
20,000,000 credits, gather the others, mark our territory, and
make off to Fred's Mid-Week Movie Thingie :)
Well, that's the plan. Think it will work??? :)

I'll throw in my 2 credits worth.
I'll add that I thought the Drive-in night was one of the better
events we've had in a long while. It just had the right atmosphere to
it, and I must admit it was a perfect night for it too! Cool but not
cold!
There were 9 Active vehicles lined up side by side, some parked
forward, some parked backward, some people in the cars, some people on
the cars, and luckily no people under cars :) We also had 3 cars in the
other session, so there were quite a few Activites there.
..and if you think "God, I can't sit through 8 hours of movies", well,
you're right :) But then, none of us did :) I spent one of the movies
outside the car, on the table listening to Akuma going "Ha-haaa!" for 2
hours :) Spychoo was kind enough to hook one of the speakers onto a bin
so we can half hardedly watch that movie as well :)
Well all in all, I think it was a good night, and you just had to be
there to appreciate it.

Well, where do I start? The begining I guess!? :)
First of all, I'd like to thank Bandito!! He did very well!! i think a
good night was had by all, even Sleepy, eventually :) <clap.bandito>
Ok, Me, Mike, Mouse, and Attitude were the first ones there.. It was
very dark, and it was very lonely :) We thought no-one would show up :)
So we walked up the road to direct anyone who may happen to drive by :)
Ok, so the odd non-active car wondered why I was waving at them :)
Someone had to do it :) <yes, the alcohol is still going through my
system, so excuse me :)>
The people who were there <this'llbe good, with my memory> were:
Me, Mike, John, Mouse, Attitude, Fred, Lestat, Baron, Susan, Maxxi,
Tabs, Kev, Rasputin, Sleepy, Serenity, Fire, Wheels, Bandito, Sonic,
Slider, Pengo, Sunshine, Dinn, Mufti, Hydro, Petch, Claw, Lestat,
Astroboy, Mills, Oracle, Sarc, Mabster, Primate, Scarlet, Wilbur, Angel,
Spychoo, Orchy, Obe1, Medieval, Alt, and and.. well that's all I can remember
at this point
:)
I believe that a good time was had by all! Sleep decided to drink
early in the night, and after ripping out the odd tree and bending the
old steel stake with his head, decided to take a nap on the grass. We
expected him to be run over several times. In fact, we are very
surprised that there were no casulties in the night :) The fire was a
raging success thanks to Obe1, and also thanks to Primate and Oracle for
bring their acoustic guitars, later played by me, John, Rasputin, Baron,
and Primate, and vocal accompaninment by myself <cough> <Ok, I was drunk
:)> and Serenity :)
Later on through the night, we had the odd car radio for music :)
People started to drop off slowly around 12, until later when it was me,
wheels, John, Obe1, Oracle, Lestat, and Wheels sitting around the fire
and drinking out of a bottle of wine <fine wine I may add :)>. We left
at 3:45.
Anyway, it was a perfect night for it!! Clear as anything, cool but
not cold! . and the view couldn't be much better!!
Well, that pretty much sums it up i think.. as I remember more, I'll
write more :)
Thanks to everyone who showed up, but special thanks to Bandito for
organising the entire thing to being with!!

I found some OLD, and I mean *OLD* Active photos from around Activator
2.5, early 1992. <about 6 years ago>. So I thought I'd scan a couple
and upload them.
The first is the largest of them, but best. It's a group photo taken
at Activator 2.5.
The three along the bottom from left to right are Dhrystone, Minniem,
and Deicide. Just to the top left of Dhrystone <our left> is Jimmyz.
The rest of them, along the top, from left to right, are NickZ, a
stranger in the backgroun, Pauly, Montyz, Flash just behind him, another
stranger, then Thanos in the background, then Stormz in front of him,
and the guy out of the picture on the right I think is Danz, the owner
of the house.

I'm not sure of the date of this photo, but from the looks of it it
only had 9 or 10 lines, so quite a while ago. Also, at the time, it was
running on a 386 SX 33 I believe.

For those who don't know, an Activator is basically a full on Active
party organised by Active itself. Usually the best event of the year,
and not only is it just another event, but in a way it's also a reunion
for old <ex> Active callers.
I won't try to describe what an Activator is exactly because I
couldn't do it justice.
But, basically we haven't had one since mid 1994 :( The last we had
was Activator 6.
Why so long??? Basically because a venue for an Activator seems very
difficult to come by.
What I would like to know is whether or not anyone has any ideas of a
venue for such a party. It is *way* long overdue :(
..and remember, it needs to be a house or nothing. So, no need to
suggest warehouse's or halls :)
For a little bit of history, I'll attach to this message the ANSI
JimmyZ made for the last Activator (6) in 1994.

HISTORY OF MOVIENIGHTS!!!!

I was thinking today that it would be nice if someone wrote up a
brief history of the movienights. I decided to contact a guy called
Sean Rodden (Ratsta) who I haven't spoken to in over 5 years, because
he was involved from the beginning. This is basically the story:
Sometime late in 1988, a guy called Virgil St. John (a user on a BBS
called "Paragon") decided to organise a gathering for some of the users
of Paragon BBS. This was highly irregular since in those
days people did not use Bulletin Boards for social reasons. In fact,
most of the people using them were recluses and not particularly
interested in meeting anyone. However, by 1988 there was a slightly
younger and more adventurous crowd signing-up. He organised the first
event and the meeting spot was the Town Hall Steps. It was called a
"BBS Bash". As you would expect from recluses, a total of 6 people
turned up. Over the course of several years, there were 14 BBS Bashes
organised with increasing crowd numbers. However, whilst these were
being organised, a group of users from the same BBS (Paragon) decided
to organise what they called a "Movienight". Sean Rodden was involved
in this and so was Jim Hirst (JimmyZ).
The first movienight would have occurred approximately mid 1989 and
they all met on Town Hall Steps :). Movienights were ogranised
occasionally from that time on, but it wasn't until Active BBS was
founded in April 1991, by JimmyZ and NickZ, that they became a regular
monthly event. Within the first few months of Active starting, it was
decided that Movienights should always be held on the second Saturday
of every month. To this day, not a single movienight has ever been
cancelled. This means that since Active originally began in
April 1991, there have been almost 95 Active movienights held :)

2. Contingency plan
ALWAYS have a contingency plan if the event is an outdoors one, or
there are other factors which could somehow cause the cancellation of
it (other than lack of interested parties).
Make sure its something that all interested parties can go to if
cancelled. An example is the contingency plan in case it rained for
the drive-ins. This was only decided on 5 days ahead of the event
when we realised the likelyhood of rain. Plan being, go to house of
mab, bring videos, and watch them there.
The contingency plan doesn't need to be made public until a few
days before the event, and only if it is looking like mother (not
pyscho) nature has it in for us.

as well. It would be greatly appreciated if you could stick somewhat to
this.
Oh, I forgot to mention, the parts of message layout with an asterix

The night was beautiful. We sat and stared into the fire in
the brisk winter's air. Above us a twinkling of a dozen stars.
In the horizon the eternal twilight of the city lights played
on the harbour's waters. Embers floated in the air like
swirling fireflies. Cars drove past into the hilly forest
where ten thousand pieces of splintered fire wood lay. The
bang and whistle of fire crackers as they lit up the night sky
with their alien colours, hovering and darting about,
brightened the faces of the many children who stood and
watched on this fine cracker night.
Dawn broke and we could see, as if for the first time, the
greenness of grass and the brilliant morning blue of the sky.
We awoke from our zombied gazes and found ourselves in love
with the universe. And the children watched the burning
cinders they laughed and joked. As we sat seperated from the
world we could have been on an island. With fisherman sitting
on the rocks and a pelican floating peacefully in the water.
This was the greatest part of the evening. Not the fireworks
or the laughter or even the looney with the burning branch, It
was this peacefulness, this island of serenity that those who
stayed until the end would certainly have taken away with them.

After much discussion with an extreamly important person,
namely myself, It comes as a great pleasure to name this
year. The first year of the millenium (pedentics, shut the fuck
up), supposedly the year of the older person (but quite
frankly, who cares?) as:
"Y2k, The Year of the Beer"
This is correct, Y2k is now officially the year of partying, and
partying like never before seen before. Upon us already, in a
mere 3 days, (if you read this later and are a pedantic, once
again, shut the fuck up :)) we have the first Movie Night of
the year, which I expect to see you all at, celebrating in
what one would imagine the most logically way, drinking to all
hours of the night.
There is already talk about Activator 7 - return of where
people left off almost 6 years ago, which is sure to be a huge
weekend, something which we all need to get out and show that
we have what it takes, to prove once and for all that we are
the future, to take a step forward as we reduce our
braincells.
We need to stand up and do our bbs proud, to party like never
before, so we can look back in future years and say "Y2k

Seeing as no one else has done it, I have taken the liberty...don't let
this stop you from writing one tho! The more peoples impressions we see
of this fantastic event - the better.
From the outset, as people were arriving, it was obvious that this was
going to be a special night. The stress involved in last minute
finishing touches only hours before, was being washed away, by the
convergence of Activites new and old, the vibe was kicking and rapidly
gaining momentum....and still in daylight!
There was a great deal of effort involved in the set up...some of the
more notable physical features of the party were:
Keg Room + Bathtub full of Ice and Drinks: Thanks guys!!!!
It was really nice to be able to go to the bathroom and get a drink
refill too...very nice touch.
Dance room: Thanks to those involved in setting up decks,
speakers, lights, lasers, smoke machine. You guys did a very
professional job.
Balloons: All 150 of them. Woo. :)
Throughout the night, I was meeting Activites I'd never met
before...some that I have been talking to on here for years...the vibe
was just right..everyone was happy.
This was more than an any other party...this was a special event.
Thanks to everyone involved in the setup, and the cleanup, and to all
those who attended..and oh yes...a special thanks to lilith...you did
what all the rest of us were afraid..very afraid to do. :)

Subj: Activator review, a host's perspective.
Oh dear, where do I start?
There were massive amounts of stress. I had anxiety attacks and lost
sleep for weeks beforehand. Can't wait till the next one!! :)
The organising committee did the most amazingly amazing job, I can't
even begin to thank them - not for making my house look fabbo, but for
making one of the best parties I've been to such a success.
It all started at about 4pm, on the day. Amaze and Dyno, my brother and
myself were here. Nickz, Kev, Kezza and Jylz had gone to the shop to
get more provisions. The keg was sitting here, lonely and untapped, so
my brother *had* to pour himself one. Game on, boys.
I remember sitting on the floor in the living room at various parts of
the day thinking 'wow' and 'oh my god, my brain doesn't work any more'
and 'my, aren't these ephedrine and phenobarbiturate tablets effective
at clearing hayfever' (sadly, not the mind). And drinking coke. And
running about doing five things at once that never seem to be completed.
So, there's a gap in my memory between about 4ish when my brother opened
the keg and me wandering out onto the front porch, in my totally
outrageous renaissance look with my strawberry fizzy wine shit, which
was about 5ish. We had people here and it was most definitely game on.
Then lots of people turned up. The weather turned for the worse. People
had strategically placed tarps and we sat under the rainy ones. We had
tables and Frodo to draw diagrams of the amphetamine chemical wotsits.
There were people with whom to talk. There was the doof room past which
to walk occasionally and cry and say 'wow, this is *so* wild, a disco in
my house'. Brought me to tears more than once. There was the keg room
with the black floor, and people to whom I could say 'don't ash on the
floor. what are you?'. People who looked at me as if to ask which
planet I'd stepped off. To all of you: go fuck yourselves. :)
There were the dogs and cats to entertain people. There was the stinky
dog, who almost died as a result of a surfeit of sausages. He came home
today. He'll never be the same again. If we have another Activator
here, don't feed him any more, please. :)
People stayed and had fun and slinked in out of the rain, and sat onthe
front porch of loooooove, and wrote on the paper bits (yes, i'll take
them down soon), and sat on the road yakking and went for walks around
the neighbourhood and left empty bottles in the neighbour's yard and
generally had a great time. :)
It was more fun and a greater privilege than I can possibly express to
have been such a part of this event. :)

I took some photos. I have scanned them in. I've provided

I take this opportunity now to apologise for the woeful
nature of some of the photos. I included one of me - partly
to make up for it, partly so you know you're not alone in
being maligned by my rinky, yet unforgiving, camera .. partly
so I have some mandate to post some genuinely shockin' pictures
of some [other] users. :)
(Pictures of your uncle jeddy are extremely rare .. and quite
disturbing to young children, too. Exercise caution.)
A couple of these snaps were actually taken the week after,
but they're on the same Porch Of Everlastin' Lurv, and they're
the same people, with about the same tolerance and alcohol
levels - so they got lumped in there as well.
Some photos are badly aimed. I do not apologise for this. Not
all were taken by me. And those that were, were taken by a
very drunk person indeed. I didn't snip & crop the pictures
of the ceiling (misreferred to within the photoset as a roof),
partly because I couldn't be bothered, partly because I didn't
have the time .. actually, mostly because I couldn't be bothered.
The filenames are presented here, so you at least have a vague
idea how to guage your care-factor. If you're on at 2400, I can
highly recommend logging off and getting a 14k line. :)

I was very dubious about turning up to clarkes point late, very
late, far too late to turn up to clarkes. I turned up once after work,
that was okayish, no real major impression from that night. Although the
last clarkes point event was HIGHLY WORTHWHILE turning up/stayer'ing
for.
I turned up at approximatly 1:30am, about the time people were
leaving, and cautioning their brother to "Don't do anything too fucked,
like last time, okay nick?" <wonder who that was Mike :)>. I think the
best thing that can summarise the night would be "Mike, at least reverse
psychology works for him"
I braught a smattering of UFO's, as I knew that I would have missed
the major fireworks for the night <well, so I thaught anyway>. I had
decided to make a bit of an entrance, so I wound my way through the
trees up to one of the cement pilon, lit a UFO <fire into the air and
scream really loudly> which proceded to frighten the shit out of
everybody. Then they saw my head, which didn't help the situation...
Very amusing :)
Anyway, the night for me started very slowly, people were leaving
<co-incidence? :)> and saying goodbye and shit, and then came mike's
hallowed warning <mentioned above> when he left. From what I recall mike
was the last of the anti-stayers to leave, the situation from there, is
best described as "giving a child a bottle of grenadine, and then its
parents leaving for work". :):)
There was a big wood run to get the fire roaring again, carrying the
blanket, the others apart from Nick, Kezza, Rex and myself were
introduced to the Zervii Opera... It goes something like this <cues
music like a lounge singer>
<main chorus from rawhide> "Yiassou Yiassou Yiassou, Vre Vre Vre,
Yiassou Yiassou Yiassou, VreeeEEEEEE, Prossihe nicko, make sure you
prossihee-ee, prosiheee nicko, vre slaaaaaaaaaaaaaap"
And the singing to nick of "be careful" in greek, again triggered the
"reverse nicko psychology" cogs turning :)
The wood was un-ceramoniously <the active ceramony :)> dumped on the
fire, and it proceded to catch alight, nick climbed the pileon <of which
we found later uses for, to be mentioned... later :)> to check on the
height of the fire, and it was confirmed that it was the biggest Clarkes
Point Fire ever <wonders where he can go with that> But anyway! :)
And then it Begun........
Kezza was the first to p pipe up "Vre, Vre, jump through the fire again
<???> Vre!"
At first nick refused wholeheartedly, but then the cheers came from
the crowd of onlookers, all of which refused to get involved <cough>.
And then it happened.....
A muttering of "fukn yeah alright" came from my right, funnily
enough, where nick was standing, and then he was off, at full pace,
straight towards the fire, when Nick launched himself, the world
suddenly seemed to move in slow motion. Suddenly the terrified look of
"OH SHIT WHAT AM I DOING" came across his face as his arms flew upwards,
and then the flames parted as if the hand of god swung down to help
nick, and then nick was gone, he had done it, he had done what no sain
zervii would have done <obviously proving, he's insane>, he had jumped
through the biggest clarkes point fire ever created by active.
There was a cheer from the onlookers as nick landed, some would call
safely because he was out of the flames, some wouldn't for reasons to be
explained.
The smell of burning hair surrounded clarkes point, as nick, in his
adrenelin hype, ran back around the fire towards me. The crowd still
cheering ran over to nick, to greet him back like a hero <or as I
thaught>. And then the realisation hit us all, nick had burnt some part

Then a hush fell across the crowd, as rex finally made it over
wondering why the hush. And then the silence was broken by nick holding

LOOK AT WHATS HAPPENED TO MY ARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!", and then there was much
laughter, from everyone but nick, who was still whinging about his arm.
<please note: I'm not adding bits about me frightening the shit out of
everyone with fireworks, humerous, but you just had to be there>
The night continued on down the same path, fireworks, nick throwing
fireworks, fireworks flying towards people, much laughter and shitting f
pants. There was alot of "BIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIP
mother? BIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIPBIP not
mother" coming from random points in the crowd, funnily enough those
random points always happened to be where nick and I were standing at
the time.
I forgot to mention, there have been reported sightings of a
fireball going up nick's jumper while he was landing from the fire run,
these reports are not yet confirmed, as nobody really wanted to see
nick with his shirt off.
There was another wood run, more singing of the Zervii opera, and
then, and only then <believe it or not> the 3 - 5am hyperactivity kicked
in, whilst forgetting the blanket on the way up, and much "yelling tits
off" of 'MOTHER!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOT
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRR!" there was a phone call made
stating "bring the fucking blanket up", <arn't mobile phones useful?>
granted, after that, we all yelled our heads off "BRING THE FUCKING
BLANKET" and got a reply of "MOTHER?!?" :) The blanket eventually
arived and was stocked with wood, same deal with dumping it on the fire,
only no flying zervii this time.
The night continued on safely, normally, until somebody caught a
glimpse of a low tree branch. SUDDENLY everyone heard a crack, as the
same tree branch was being ripped off the tree, and then came the yells,
the uproar of the crowd, mob rules, the ultimate test of peer pressure.
"VRE, VRE, VRE, DO THE FIRERUN, YEAH NICK, DO THE FIRE RUN, VRE! OLYMPIC
TORCH VRE, YES, FLAMING TREE RUN!!!!"
The tree was layed <well, thrown, well, dropped because itwas fucking
heavy> on the ground at nick's feet. There was a wrestle between Greedy
<i think?> Nick and myself, VS the tree. The tree ended up breaking,
nick ended up on his back with half a broken branch on top of him. <if I
say tree, I mean branch, if you saw the branch, you'd understand why
I'm still saying tree>.
Nick's half hearted attempt to lift the tree, and then muttering
"naaah vree, its too heavy" wasn't left alone, the crowd, which had
become an unruely mob of activites <like pizza hut, only worse, and more
terrifying> fired up again, and nick was forced to lift the giant
branch, and place it in the fire. It took, some would say surprisingly,
although nick, with his fire jumping, obviously had a higher power on
his side <or was it against him, forcing him to do fucked up things? :)>.

Nick hoisted the massive branch above his head, like a medieval knight
with way too much dough, trying to make noodles from scratch, and he
ran, by god did the little greek cunt run, flaming branch in hand. I,
personally could have sworn that the branch hit his pants, and he had
smouldering shit on the back of his pants, but this also, is
unconfirmed. The glowing embers retreated off into the darkness, they
became slower, and slower, and slower, they waved around as if an unfit
greek bloke was flapping a branch around that was heavier than he was,
and then they started bouncing back towards us. Slower, and slower, and
slower, then you could hear breathing, like something out of the Blair
Witch Project, as nick came within range of the fire-light again, the
branch was dumped back on the fire, and nick almost collapsed.
Much laughter was afoot, and the unruely mob called Kezza and I to
the post, like men being conscripted we complied. "Team Ke..." hoisted
up the branch, and we ran, we ran like there was no tomorrow, kezza
stumbled and fell by the wayside, but I knew I had to keep running, if I
stopped for kezza, the branch would have snapped and burnt us both
<thereby causing more hillarity, but too much pain> I was to keep
running. I stopped, turned, and flapped the branch about, I was worn out
to the shithouse, so I did a worse branch flapping effort than nick, it
was more of a "drag in circles", I didn't even hear the cocks laughing,
then I got my second wind, hurled the branch over my shoulder, and ran,
to throw it in the fire again.
And then the great allah, in his almighty presence was called, for
the fire run, he picked up a smaller branch, as he had a bad back from
too much sex, he lit it, and bolted. I've never seen a "greek babe"
<Note: short fat hairy cunt> run so fast in my life, its as if he didn't
touch the ground at all. He was like a fat, hairy hovercraft, zooming
off into the night. The tree branch was waved around triumphantly, and
brilliantly it shon against the starlit sky <wanking :)> that allah had
provided for us, and his fire tree run, and he returned amongst cheers
from the crowd, to dispose of the branch apon the fire.
There were many funny jokes made, and then people began noticing rex
SMS'ing, people started getting worried, and then it came. The
anti-stayer-allah possesed rex's body, and rex began to say goodbye.
This is the first event <apart from activator> that I had seen rex leave
"early" from <yes cocks, I remember that bit of activator! :)>. The
crowd yelled, boo'd and hissed, there was alot of yelling for a story,
which delayed him for approximatly 15 minutes, but allas, there was no
story.
I followed rex to his car to investigate roumers that I had heard, f
of a propellor hat and a trident, and it was on this journey, that the
good-allah returned and said "vuv, you must find the steaming golden
grogan, you must use all your senses, it is around here somewhere, I can
smell it" I gazed apon the trident and propellor had in awe, and I
returned to the campsite, informed the others of the grogan, I fucked up
a couple of times and called it a "grogan of shit", but I was drinking,
deal with it, it was that or falling off a wall, and I prefered that :).
There were phone calls to and from rex during the few hours

There were phone calls to and from rex during the few hours

Nick, in all his wisdom, had hidden 3 rocket engines in a bag, Nick,
in all his stupidity, had taken them out of his bag, and given them to
me.
After a short discussion on how the rocket engines worked, one was
thrown into the fire. People at first didn't believe that it had
happened, and refused to move, yet when nick and I hid behind the pilons
<yes, the other use for them :)> and yelled "COCKS, WE'RE SERIOUS,
MOVE!" people decided to move slowly away from the fire.
There was some hissing, nothing too much, we hid. There was the
crackling of flames, we hid. Everybody began losing faith in the rocket
engine of truth, and began coming away from trees, nick and I moved away
from the pilons that we were hiding behind. There was general
conversations, mutterings of "told you it wouldn't work" and general
bullshittery. Suddenly !!!!!!!!!!!!!BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there was an
explosion, people jumped, people hid, personally, I almost shat myself.
Little did I know this would only be a small preview, of what was to
come.
Amused and shocked people began returning, random shit was thrown
into the fire, although none of it explosive. People were generally
bantering around talking, very amused at what had happened that night, I
would even go out on a limb and say the event was beginning to wind down
with the fire, slowly phasing down.
I tripped over a bag, I noticed that it had a bottle in it, I opened
the small, white plastic bag up, and found something, the possibilities
screamed through my head, "DRINK, HIT NICK, DRINK, THROW, SPRAY
EVERYWHERE". It was a bottle of Hahn Premium <apologies to whomever
owned this bottle :)>. And then the ultimate idea came to me...
Put it in the fire...
I wanted to know what would happen, nick has only just started
physics, so I figured nick would want to know what would happen, the
fire was winding down, so we could easilly observe what would happen, I
moved towards the fire with a huge grin apon my face.
I plopped the bottle, as gently as possible into the fire. I then
decided to inform the general public of what I had done, amongst cries
of "bullshit vre, don't lie", "don't joke about wasting beer" and "what?
huh? whats he done? another firecracker in the fire?" I trotted
heartilly, with a mischevious glint in my eye, to my hiding place,
behind the pilon.
As I grew near the pilon, I heard somebody mutter "he's serious,
whats it going to do? where is it? oh fuck, the lit is pointing straight
at us" and then everybody scrambled to their own personal little
"observation points".
There was nothing apart from a crackling fire in the night air, you
could cut the tention with a knife.
Then there was a hiss.
Then there was nothing.
Not learning from the rocket engine, people moved out of their hiding
spots, thankfully they stayed away from the fire.

Embers flew into the air, people jumped behind pilons, behind tree's,

dusting ourselves off, wondering "what the fuck was that, that COULDN'T
have been the bottle, greedy, what did you throw???!?"

Suddenly, I was off.. my legs were in motion and not even the sight
of blazing flames could hold them back!! As I ran, my peripheral
vision began to blank while all I saw were the flames ahead, and all
I heard were the slow motion chants of what seemed like 100 men!!
As my body leaped for the heart of the flame, I felt my feet leave
the ground. There was no turning back. My body was airborn and
nothing could save me now but the luck of God himself! But I was
still full of confidence as I approached a wall of flames of which,
up close, seemed to extend endlessly in all directions!!
1 foot from the flames in flight, and rapidly approaching, my brain
began to consider the potential danger in what I was doing, but
still, I was feeling good.
20 inches from the flames, and my body was begining to feel the
heat increasing rapidly while the thoughts "are humans flammable?"
began to rush through my mind!
10 inches from the flames and the scorching heat on the naked parts
of my flesh were more than evident!! My brain was thinking, "could
this have been a mistake???"
Then it happened!! My face and body entered the wall of flames!!
The thrill!! The buzz!!!! Like slow motion, my body entered what was
believed to be an impenetrable wall of flames! Unfortunately, it
coincided with the strong smell of burning hair!! :)
As my body in flight emerged from the other side of the flames, my
head was filled with thoughts of "I have survived" and "that burning
smell is pretty damn strong!!!" :)
But still in slow motion, my feet moved forward for the landing,
and landed I did, accompanied by the sounds of cheers!! For moments
I wondered if I had survived, followed by the thought that my body
was now naked of all hair and clothing! :) I checked myself, and
thus discovered my arm, covered in a blanket of sizzled melted hair
with white burnt tips. I rubbed and rubbed as ashes of burnt hair
parted from my arm and all that remained was the spikey remains of a
2 day growth :)
But, I survived! Slightly scorned, but I did it. I, survived :)

The fire had disentegrated, there were embers everywhere, on
blankets, on the ground, we were expecting spot fires to break out. The
piles of ash and halfburnt wood had gone, I'm not exaggurating this part
at all, before the explosion, there was a stack of wood and shit about
20 inches high, by about 30 inches, laying randomly over the BBQ, after
the explosion, all of that had gone, disappearede
We were all in shock, the noise, the destruction, the burnt
blankets. it had become "attend at own risk" event :)
There was a small wood run, to get the fire going a little again,
some touristy-types walked past <i think this happened before the
bottle, none the less>. They had walked off, you could only just see
them at the far end of the point. And greedy pulled out the final
mortar.
The fuse was lit, and the mortar was pointed along the ground, about
30 degrees to the left of the Japanese tourists <of whom were safelty
out of range we hoped> and the fuse was lit. A bang, and a ball of
sparks hurtled up to about one meter above the ground, they hit the
ground, bounced twice, and then BANG, a massive explosion and a shower
of sparks hit the hill where the trees where, straight across the park.
There was much laughter and frivolity, Astroboy <I think it was> and
greedy sprinted across the park to make sure the spot fire that was
created, was put out. And then there was more laughing and talking of
"next time, aim it at them, or try to shoot it past them" "they were
probably from hiroshima, and they hit the deck thinking it was a nuke"
<Etc> :)
There was talk of putting a rocket engine in a bottle, and then
putting it in the fire... I picked up an empty bottle, held a rocket
engine in my hand, dropped the rocket engine on the ground, and
pretended to put it in the bottle. I threw the bottle into the fire and
said "well, its done". They replied with "whats done?" and I said "the
rocket engine in the bottle". I have NEVER seen a group of activites run
so fast, everyone instantly got up, and sprinted behind the pilons,
trees, anything they could. Then I laughed at all of them, Then I got
bashed by laitha for making her run, then we all laughed. :)
An alarm went off after i screamed like a girl from laitha bashing
me up, kezza and I, the two "mostest bloody huge" parts of active, went
up to investigate. It wasn't any cars or anything, kezza checked on
michelle <myst>, so we returned back to the campsite. Whilst smelling
the golden grogan of truth, I whispered to kezza "vre, we should sprint
past, and yell 'FUCK, RUN' at them" kezza laughed, i thaught for a
second, too loudly, but obviously not.
Kezza and I ran down the hill at full pace, as fast as our little
legs would carry us, we yelled at the top of our voices "FUCK!!!!!!!
RUN!!!!!!!" I saw Nick and John <odo> suddenly get up out of the corner
of my eye, but I dare not turn around, there was an imaginary thing
chasing us :):):):):)
Kezza and I ran up the hill to near the wood site, looked down apon
the camp, we couldn't see anybody, the place looked desserted, all yopu
could see, was kezza's light, burning brightly, almost like a beacon, as
to one of the funniest jokes at CP :)

... Wandered down to the campsite, nobody was there, laitha appeared
first, then nick and then the others. I had put a morbid, sorrowful look
apon my face as I explained to nick that there were police up the hill,
waiting for us to "get you lot" and go back up. Nick's expression was
one of laughter and joking, but I somehow held my serious demenour, even
though I could hear kezza's attempted stiffled giggle in the background.
John <ood> took the bait, then nick suddenly realised the imaginary
seriousness of the situation, odo and mark were saying "fine, we'll
just go up there, we havn't done anything wrong" and nick was staring in
desbelief smoking rapidly saying "bullshit vre, you HAVE to be lying!
Bullshit vre! bullshit!". Kezza burst out into laughter and everyone
realised it was a joke.... I was then bashed by laitha again.
Some more random shit got thrown into the fire, including another
rocket engine, which took off into one of the pilons, not as rapidly as
I thaught it would, as well as Laitha's coke...
"Look cocks, how could you throw my coke in the fire?!!!?!?"
"We'll buy you some coke on the way home!"
"NO COCKS, I DON'T WANT THE FUCKING COKE!"
"Fine, we will give you $4!"
"I DON'T WANT THE MONEY!!!"
"So you want the coke then :):):):)"
"YA FUKN!!! <laughter>" :)
After that there was the cleanup, apologies if anything was left behind,
but it was 50-50 stay/leave, and it was only about 5:15, and still dark,
so we had no light to work with.
BUT ANYWAY!!!
CLARKES POINT WAS -THE BEST-, 100% UNDOUBTABLY THE BEST EVENT THAT I
HAVE EVER GONE TOO, THE BEST PARTY, EVERYTHING PALES INTO INSIGNIFIGANCE
COMPARED WITH THIS CP!!! BRILLIANCE, SHEER BRILLIANCE! :)
